  • 7E Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the venue for use. Visitors have access to free public Wi-Fi, for basic browsing, email and social media. Event specific network services and custom solutions for event organisers can be requested to be arranged through your Event Planner. Exhibitors can pre-order wired internet connectivity via the Exhibitor Services Centre.

    The venue does not allow the use of wireless access points other than the venue fixed wireless infrastructure and reserves the right to disable wireless transmitting devices.

  • Access to the Loading Dock is from 46 Nelson Street only. Movement of vehicles on the loading dock is strictly one way. The Loading Dock is strictly a no parking zone and vehicles may remain on the loading dock for a limited time. Once exhibitors have offloaded, vehicles must vacate the area.

    The NZICC logistics team supervises all entry to the loading dock and access is only allowed to vehicles arriving at their scheduled time as per the event loading/traffic management plan. Exhibitors may access the Loading Dock during their scheduled event pack in and out times only and high visibility clothing and covered footwear must be worn in all loading dock areas.

    Pre-Event Deliveries

    Due to a busy event schedule and limited storage at the venue, we recommend you use a freight forwarder for delivery, collection and storage requirements. Early deliveries will be accepted via the venue’s Loading Dock one day before the pack-in or on the day of pack in of the event.

    For any deliveries to NZICC, please ensure your items are clearly identifiable (including event name, stand name and stand number, contact name and contact number) so that they can be accepted. We recommend you use the NZICC Delivery Label for incoming goods as this captures all the information we need. NZICC will not take responsibility for any incorrectly labelled goods. NZICC will accept and sign for deliveries; however, upon receipt, NZICC will not be responsible for checking the status or condition of goods delivered and will not be responsible for any payment to delivery companies.

    Post-Event Collections

    Exhibitors are expected to have all their items cleared from the event space within the pack out time allocated and collected no later than one day after the pack out. We recommend using the NZICC Dispatch Label to help with post-event collections. Any items left behind without instruction, not labelled or mis-labelled will be deemed abandoned and disposed of accordingly and costs may be on charged. It is the exhibitor’s/organiser’s responsibility to arrange for collection of their own goods.

    If exhibitors have items to be collected post-event by couriers it is very important to ensure:

    Items must be fully packed and boxed, ready for transport before being placed in the dock

    • Items must not be left unpackaged as these will not be accepted for dispatch

    • Completed courier or outgoing dispatch labels are attached to all packed items

    • Items are at the correct collection point in the dock before exhibitors leave the venue

  • Exhibitor Services Centre

    Exhibitors can order a range of services in advance via the Exhibitor Services Centre including:

    • Audio-visual equipment

    • Banners, rigging and staging

    • Cleaning and waste

    • Internet services

    • Security services

    • Stand catering

    • Venue furniture for use in stands

      All exhibitor services orders must be received no later than 14 days prior to the event and NZICC requires pre-payment of all services ordered before the hiring period commences to ensure delivery.

    Electrical safety is a shared responsibility at NZICC. If you are bringing electrical equipment

    into the venue, it is your duty to ensure that it has been tested and tagged in accordance

    with relevant H&S regulations and best in practice guidelines (currentlyAS/NZS

    3760:2022) before use. Untagged, damaged, or unsafe equipment may not be allowed onsite and could be removed without notice.
